Actor born in Katowice, in 1957 graduated from Theatre School by Teatr Śląski. Affiliated with stages in Grudziądz, Kalisz, Szczecin, Gniezno, Toruń, Lublin, Bielsko-Biała, Zabrze and Katowice. Played over 150 parts in theatre, film and radio dramas, in classic and contemporary repertoire. He was also engaged in alternative and experimental stages works. He took part in Lech Majewski’s project "Tram" and had guest appearances in musical productions in Teatr Rozryki ("Dyzma", "Ball at Woland’s", "Departure", "Jeckyll & Hyde", "Oliver!"). He could be seen also in Kazimierz Kutz’s films ("The Salt of Black Soil", "The Pearl in Crown", "The Beads of One Rosary") he took part in L. Majewski’s films "Wojaczek" and "Angelus" productions. In 2009 in Teatr Śląski was celebrated 50-th anniversary of artistic work of Jan Bogdół, an event where his paintings were also exhibited. For his artistic achievements was given Minister of Culture and Art Award, Knight Cross of Polonia Restituta, Medal for Merit to Culture – Gloria Artis. For many years member of The Polish Theatre Artists Guild [ZASP]. For his social work also honoured with Gold Medal given by Council for the Protection of Struggle and Martydoom Sites. 
Now one can see him in "The Taming of the Shrew" by W. Shakespeare.
