ABOUT MYSELF

He comes from Lvov. He was Polski Teatr Ludowy in Lvov actor, in 1975 joined Teatr Śląski where he played about 100 parts. The Karol Szymanowski Music Academy lecturere where he teaches basic of acting and diction. Decorated with Knight’s Cross of Order of Polonia Restituta, Bronze and Gold Cross of Merit, Silver Medal for Merit to Culture "Gloria Artis" and "Outstanding Culture Activist" badge.  Golden Masks Awards laureate, also for title part in A. Camus’ "Caligula" (1989) and for the part of George in "Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? " by. E. Albee in Teatr Śląski and that of Jakub in "Play-Schultz. Hourglass Sanatorium" from B. Schulz in Teatr Bez Sceny in Katowice. In 2010 was given honourary mention for the part of Chamberlain in "Iwona, Princess of Burgudia" by W. Gombrowicz (dir. A. Keresztes) at 9th International Gombrowicz Festival in Radom. He also values creations in T. Bernhard’s "Force of Habit", part of Caribaldi and that of Ivan in "The Brothers Karamzov" by F. Dostoyevsky. On his scholar path he is during postdoctoral course.
