BERNARD KRAWCZYK







He made his debut when still in Theatre School by Teatr Śląski – in December 1952 he already played on stage. During 60 years of stage work prepared parts for theatre and TV in plays of W. Shakespeare, W. Gombrowicz, S. Beckett or S. Mrożek. For his theatre creations was given some Silver and Golden Masks. He was invited by theatre managers from Łódź, Wrocław and Warszawa to work there, but he still didn’t decide to go out. Born in Podłęże Szlacheckie by Częstochowa he founds his place on earth in Silesia, and above all in Mysłowice, where he spent his childhood during WW2 and early youth. The actor well-known from film roles, especially cult K. Kutz’s films, "Salt of Black Land" and "The Pearl in Crown". Legend of Silesian theatre and film, the actor who still accepts new artistic challanges. In near future will be working on monodrama from T. Różewicz text "Funny Old Man".

Now You can see him in "The Fifth Quarter of the Globe", "Rebellion" and auteur performance "I Kiss Your Hand, Madame…"
