A performance utilising new media in which a performer using body language and sign language in a visual form, drawing on new technologies, tells the dramatic situation of d/Deaf people after the nuclear attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. During these tragic events, d/Deaf people were left out of communication, deprived of the possibility to react. The performance evokes the memories of the survivors of those attacks, recounting the events of the past, but creates an acute and still very relevant picture of the communication exclusion that d/Deaf people still experience today. The performance was included, among others, in the British Council showcase programme presented in Edinburgh as part of the Fringe Festival.
