Dwóch mężczyzn, jeden przytrzymuje drugiego, przytrzymywany mężczyzna wskazuje palem na stojącą obok kobietę w kasku

Bigamy? But yes! Incest? Never! Tempted by a worldwide stages success of his farce "Run for Your Wife" Ray Cooney after more then 20 years, in 2001 wrote, a sequel to the Smiths’ family history (about a bigamist and his two wives) adding to venerable circle two teenagers, Mr Smith’s children. Problem is eighteen year old Vici and Gavin make an appointment via internet not knowing that their kinship is exceptionally close. Their first date is to main character of the play, John, a real catastrophe. Bigamy yes, incest – staunchly no! John begins a crazy ride between two homes and two families to prevent colossal catastrophe.

When Ray Cooney praised oneself for his stage sequel (common practice in film industry) the play at once got prize "2002 Olivier and Evening Standard Awards for Best New Comedy" for the best comedy of the year, and theatres made a line for a copy, especially from cities where first part of the story about London bigamist enjoyed unending popularity.

Actors greatly use conventional line at the centre of a stage, dividing two London districts where two bigamist’s wives live. So a play takes part on two parallel plans, clearly marked by J. Schoen’s stage design. In the course of the time protagonists move increasingly faster and nervously between this parts. Well and this greatly played final, that could’t be given away and which in a second destroys interpretation of the play, so ardously built by audience since the first scene.

Dziennik Zachodni

Doomed to Stanley’ part Andrzej Warcaba continues „Run for Your Wife” in sport style indeed, in leader T-shirt running alternatively from door to door. He’s doing his best, both telling poor jokes and absurd lies barring the true to come to light.
