“FierS à Cheval” is an outdoor performance combined with a spectacular parade. It begins with the appearance of inconspicuous figures who, after a while, turn into illuminated silhouettes of dancing horses, light and luminous, transporting us into an amazing fantasy world. These extraordinary creatures carry us away in a magical gallop, full of light and music. The master of ceremonies conducts them through a series of choreographed routines – from a romantic waltz to a stirring tango, carefree swagger to stormy duelling scenes. The music, at times gentle and at times joyful, enhances the diverse emotions felt by the audience. “FierS à Cheval” gives a sense of freedom and surprises with the unobvious energy of the dance, the expression of movements and the harmony of the music.

Compagnie des Quidams was founded in 1994 in France. It brings together around thirty artists from different fields of art: theatre, music dance, circus, among others. They present between 100 and 150 performances a year, travelling all over the world from Costa Rica to South Africa, Japan and Australia. In their original performances, saturated with music and visual beauty, Compagnie des Quidams use huge costumes and create images of extraordinary beauty, giving public space a whole new character. Their performances bring poetry into everyday life, transporting the audience into an incredible world conjured up before their eyes.
