An extraordinarily spectacular, circus-acrobatic performance in which the title ‘exit’ becomes the starting point for an endless flow of surprising situations and acrobatic actions. EXIT shows the meeting of four people – appearing and disappearing, colliding, climbing, balancing each other, but also out of balance, arriving and departing. We are, after all, always on the move, but what if we can never get home? The artists’ delightful dexterity is combined here with beautiful movement, conceived with almost choreographic precision, affecting the audience’s imagination and evoking many associations with the situations they are watching – the search for a way out, but also for home, leaving, going on a journey, neighbouring. The door is, after all, an image that evokes many meanings, and it is the door that is an essential part of the set design of this unique performance.

As part of the festival, the performance will be presented in Katowice and Dąbrowa Górnicza.

The artistic group Circumstances is a team of artists from different countries creating unique performances combining dance, acrobatics and circus elements. Each of them brings their specialist knowledge and skills to the process of creating the performance. The group’s work is coordinated by Piet Van Dycke, who is responsible for the concept and choreography of the “EXIT” performance.
