After graduating from Academy of Theatre Arts when I went at 5am train from Kraków to Katowice to rehearse there I was suprised with behaviour of people getting on board from Jaworzno through Mysłowice etc. They were silent in the train. My Galicia (South-East part of Poland not of Spain) morning train from Gorlice always was teeming with voices. But they in Silesia were silent when in train. 




He was born in Szalowa by Gorlice (1955). In 1979 he graduated from Academy of Theatre Arts in Kraków. He studied under guidance of prof. H.Gryglaszewska and  prof. J. Jarocki. He joined Teatr Śląski in late 70’. In addition to his stage parts performed in dozen or so Polish films and directed more then 80 radio dramas in Teatr Polskiego Radia in Katowice and Warszwa. He also was a theatre and TV theatre director. In 2005 was listed by J. Sieradzki in "Polityka" weekly as one of hundred best actors. He’s a lecturer in Theatre School by Teatr Śląski and Wyższa Szkoła Humanitas in Sosnowiec.
