Several dozen of stage production one can arrange in three currents of his director searchings. First – interpretations of contemporary texts, as one of a few in Poland and only one in Silesia directed brutalists’ drama ("Unidentified Human Remains and True Nature of Love" by B. Fraser, "Phaedra’s Love" by S. Kane). All-Poland discussions were also arisen due to actual subjects taken up in A. Pałyga’s "Jew" (Grand Prix of Gdynia Festival of Polish Contemporary Plays R@PORT, finalist of 1st ed. of programme Theatre Poland) or contemporary interpretation in "The Master & Margarita Story" (four nominations for Golden Masks Award). He also empolyed M. Modzelewski’s, K. Kesay’s or P. Zelenka’s texts.

Second field of his searchings are productions at the point of contact of drama and music theatres (most important productions are: "Lovers’ and Murderes’ Ballads" from N. Cave, "Comet or this Cruel 20th Century" from J. Nohavica, "Shout" from J. Kaczmarski, "Underground" with N. Cave’s and T. Waits’ songs, "Monsters. Murderess’ Songs" performance from his own script with new R. Przemyk’s songs.

Third current are stage searchings involving history, mitology and indentity of place (Silesia and Silesians). The most famous is "Cholonek" from Janosch (performed already for 10 years, almost 500 productions at home and abroad), Bielsko-Biała emphasising of local stories in" "Teodor Sixt’s Last Will" in Teatr Polski or one of the best-known performances in Silesia region, "The Fifth Quarter of the Globe" by K. Kutz (dozen or so awards at prestigious contests, also a win at 19th All-Poland Contest for Polish Contemporary Play Staging, Golden Masks Awards and shows at many Polih Festivals).
